1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon plus 2 teaspoons baking powder
2 ½ teaspoons sugar
¼ teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons vegetable shortening
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
6 ounces of grated cheddar cheese
¾ cup whole milk
green onions – I use just the green parts about 3 or 4

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt together. Then
add the shortening to the mixture and mix. Add and mix
the butter. Then add and mix the cheese, milk and green
onions. Just mix until dough comes together. Drop
dough onto greased cookie sheet.

Bake 15/20 minutes

425 degrees
