1 1/4 Cup Corn Meal
1/2 Cup Sifted Flour
1 Tbl Sugar
1Tsp Salt
1 1/4 Tsp Baking Powder
1/2 Tsp Baking Soda
1 Egg
1/4 Cup Shortening
1 1/4 Cup Buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients together. Beat egg; add buttermilk and beat in dry ingredients and shortening. Pour into greased 8 in square pan. Bake at 425 degrees for 15-20 min until golden brown. Serve hot.
