2 lb. beef round steak (1/2 inch thick)
3 T flour
1/4 cup better
1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
1 tsp. salt
1/4 T basil leaves
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 cup green pepper, chopped
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1 1/2 cup (6 oz.) shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Cut meat into serving pieces; coat with flour. Melt butter in skillet; brown meat slowly on both sides. Add tomatoes, salt, basil, and pepper. Cover and simmer one hours. Add onion and green pepper. Cook 25 to 30 minutes or until meat is tender. Top meat with cheese; cover and heat until cheese melts. Makes 6-8 servings.
