Ingredients:
1-1/2 cups macaroni
3 Tablespoons butter
2 Tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
Dash pepper
2 cups milk
1-2 cups cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Cook macaroni. Drain and set aside. Melt butter and mix in flour and salt. Add milk and cheese and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until slightly boiling and slightly thickened. Add macaroni and pepper and mix well. (The starch in the macaroni will aid in the thickening.)

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
We use a can of evaporated milk in place of some of the regular milk - then regular milk for the rest that is called for. This makes it creamier. I never make this without doubling it because everybody loves it and will eat it left over.
