½ pound butter
2 cups flour
2 cups chopped pecans or walnuts
5 tbs sugar
2 tsps vanilla
1 tbs water
½ tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cream butter, add sugar, vanilla and water.
2. Sift flour and salt together and stir into mixture.
3. Add nuts and mix thoroughly.
4. Using portions about the size of a walnut, roll into crescent shaped cookie.
5. Preheat oven to 325 degrees and bake about 20 minutes.
6. While warm, roll in powered sugar.
