2 1/2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup candied red cherries, chopped
1/2 cup candied green cherries, chopped
1 cup walnuts, chopped
3/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 cup orange juice

Preheat oven to 350.
Sift together dry ingredients, flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. In small bowl mix cherries, walnuts and raisins together. Sprinkle fruit with 3/4 cup of the dry ingredients. Cream butter and sugar together, add eggs and beat until fluffy. Add dry ingredients and orange juice, stirring until just blended, fold in the floured nuts and fruit. Spoon batter into tube pan that has been greased and floured. Bake for 1 hour or until center of cake is done, cool 5 to 10 minutes and then remove from pan.

You can serve unfrosted or make frosting by mixing cherry juice and confectioner's sugar and drizzling over cake.
