3/4 Cup Shortening
1 Cup Sugar
2 Cups Flour
2 Tsp. Baking Soda
1/4 Tsp. Salt
1 Egg
1/4 cup Molasses
1 Tsp. Cinnamon
3/4 Tsp. Ginger, powdered
3/4 Tsp. Cloves, powdered

Directions:

Mix together the shortening and sugar- sift then stir in flour, baking soda, and salt. Now add egg, molasses, and spices. Form into cookies and bake for 12 minutes at 375
