1/2 cup chopped onions
3-4 slices of bacon or vegetarian hot dogs are good!
28 ounce baked beans can ( any brand you like)
1/2 cup Barbeque sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 T mustard

Directions:

Sauté the chopped onions
Cook bacon until tender
Put all ingredients into a stove top pan
Bring to a boil...simmer for 15 minutes

When I was on a vegetarian diet for several years, I would make this...it is good because you get lots of meat!! I use to use the vegetarian hot dogs...very good!
When I would take it to potluck picnics, no one knew it was vegetarian and it was always gone at the end of the day!!
