1 6oz package choc chips (semi sweet, or milk. I like semi sweet best.)
4 egg whites
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cream of tartar

1 1/2 c sugar
1 cup nuts (optional. chopped walnuts)
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
beat eggs, salt and tartar till fluffy. Add sugar slowly. Fold in chips, buts (optional) and vanilla.
Bake on parchment or waxed paper lined cookie sheet. 300 degrees/25 min. Makes 72 if small.

This cookie was first brought to us by our 14th Street neighbor, Eva Abrahamson. She loved my kids, and make them cookies, had tea parties, and made each of them a special ripple afghan for one Christmas. We all loved her.
