2 1.2 c cooked white rice
1 1/2 c evaporated milk (or scalded)
2/3 c brown or white sugar (or split to have both)
3T soft butter/marg
2T vanilla
1/2 - 1 tsp nutmeg
3 eggs, beaten
1/2 to 1 c raisins (your preference)

combine rice with everything. Lightly grease crock pot. Put all ingredients in & cover. High 1 1/2 -2 hrs. Stir a few times the first 30 minutes.
