Sweet Pickles from Dill Pickles

46 oz jar whole dill pickles (Vlasic Brand zesty Dill)
1/2 cup white vinegar
1/2 cup pickle Juice
1/2 cup sugar
1 heaping tsp. pickling spice

Directions:
Directions:
Empty jar of pickles and slice 1/4 inch thick (thicker is good). Save the pickle juice.

Combine 1/2 cup White Vinegar, 1/2 cup Pickle Juice, 1/2 cup Sugar, and 1 heaping tsp Pickling Spice. Bring to a boil and cool. Optional: 2 small pieces of sliced jalapeno peppers. Put sliced pickles back into jar and after liquid has cooled. Pour over pickles and refrigerate.

If you like pickles a little warm with peppers, add the sliced jalapeno peppers.
