½ c. Butter
2 tbsp. Water

1 c. Water
1 tsp. Almond flavoring
1 c. Flour
3 Eggs

ICING:
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/4 tsp. Almond flavoring
Milk (enough so can be drizzled on hot cake)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first 3 ingredients as if making pie crust (I put in cuissinart). Roll (or pat) into two long strips ¼" thick – place on cookie sheet. Next:
Mix together 1/2 c. butter and 1 C. water in saucepan and bring to a boil. Add:1 tsp. Almond flavoring -- Remove from heat and beat in:1 c. Flour
Stirring by hand all the time so it won’t get lumpy. Add 3 Eggs- Stirring in ONE AT A TIME: Beating well by hand after each addition. Spread over the two crusts.
Bake in a 375º oven for 30 – 35 min. or until light brown. Spread with Icing and sprinkle with chopped nuts.
