3 1/2 c plain flour
1 c milk
1/4 c water
1 yeast cake
1 egg
1 T sugar
1 1/2 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Put water and milk in pan and when lukewarm, put enough over yeast cake to dissolve. Then add sugar and salt to remaining milk and let come to a boil.

Beat egg and add to yeast cake. When milk is lukewarm, stir all together in flour and set in warm place; let rise about 2 hours. Then break down and let rise again. Make into rolls and putin pan and let rise until ready to bake. Bake at 350º until lightly browned.
