6 c. all-bran cereal
2 c.boiling water
1 c. vegetable oil
1 c. molasses
4 eggs
4 c. buttermilk (I often use soured milk instead - which I make by adding 4 Tbsp. of vinegar to 3 3/4 cups of milk)

5 c. all-purpose flour
2 Tbsp. baking soda
1 tsp salt

1. In extra large bowl, mix cereal with boiling water. Allow to cool.

4. Stir in flour, soda and salt. Stir just until blended.
5. Cover and keep cool in fridge for 24 hours before baking @ 425F for 14-15 minutes. Do not remix.
