1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. + 1 TB milk
1 TB butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. red food coloring
8 cups popped popcorn

Directions:
Directions:
Bring sugars, milk and butter to boil for 1 minute. Add vanilla and food coloring (can be any color -- any amount desired for the color you want). Pour hot mixture over popcorn in a bowl and mix well. Spread on a cookie sheet or parchment paper to dry.

Mom used to make this popcorn all the time, but I never had the recipe. When my kids were in kindergarten, they made this and when I tasted it, it was just like the popcorn Mom made for us when we were little.
