20 Stalks Fresh Asparagus
1 Large Onion (chopped)
Small head of Leaf Lettuce, Spinach or Endive (chopped)
Sliced Fresh Mushrooms *(optional)
4 T. Butter
Salt & Pepper (to taste)
2 T. Flour
1 c. Beef or Chicken Broth

Directions:
Directions:
Sauté asparagus and onion in butter for about 5 minutes. Add the lettuce and mix until wilted, then add the flour and mix well. Add the broth and mix well until mixture thickens.

*Optional: Sauté sliced mushrooms with asparagus and onions if desired.
