1 lb. ground beef or substitute Italian sausage, ground
2 cans (15 oz.) Hunt's Family Favorites Seasoned Tomato Sauce for Lasagna or sauce of your choice
1 1/2 c. hot water
1 lb. ricotta cheese
1 lb (4 c.) grated Mozzarella cheese
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
2 eggs, beaten
1 lb. uncooked lasagna noodles

Preheat oven to 400º. Grease a 13 x 9 x 2? baking pan. Brown meat. Stir in tomato sauce and water. Set aside.
Combine Ricotta cheese, 2 c. Mozzarella cheese, Parmesan and eggs. Mix well and set aside.
Layer in pan , meat sauce, dry noodles, and cheese according to the Layering Diagram below. Bake, covered, 50 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 10 minutes. Remove from oven. Let lasagna rest 10 minutes before serving.

Layer 1: 2 1/2 c. meat sauce, Layer 2: 4-5 dry noodles, Layer 3: 1/2 cheese mixture, Layer 4: 4-5 dry noodles, Layer 5: 2 c. sauce mixture, Layer 6: 4-5 dry noodles, Layer 7: remaining cheese mixture, Layer8: 4-5 dry noodles, Layer 9: Remaining meat sauce, Layer 10:Remaininh Mozzarella cheese.

This is the no-boil method. There are now noodles specifically for no-boil. I you wish, you can make some meatballs or add some chunks of Italian sausage with the meat sauce. serve with salad and garlic bread.
