Barbecued Beef Brisket Recipe

3 to 5 lb. flat beef brisket
4 oz. bottle liquid smoke
celery salt
onion salt
garlic salt

1 c. catsup
2 c. water
3 dashes Tabasco
1 tsp. chili powder
1/3 c. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. salt

Several hours or the night before baking, place brisket in baking pan. Pour liquid smoke over the brisket. Sprinkle with celery, onion and garlic salts. Cover and refrigerate until ready to bake.

Place in 300šoven and bake 4-5 hours. After first hour, pour barbecue sauce over brisket. Re-cover and baste every hour.

Sauce: Combine and bring to a boil.
