9-inch pie shell, unbaked
1/2 lb. bacon, diced
1/2 green pepper, diced
4 eggs
1/2 cup half & half
1 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1 cup grated Swiss cheese
1 tbsp. butter, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 450. Bake pie shell for 5 minutes. Fry bacon until crisp; drain. Spread bacon and green pepper in bottom of shell. Beat eggs and half & half together; blend in seasonings. Add cheese. Pour mixture into pie shell. Drizzle butter on top. Bake at 375 for 35 minutes or until filling is firm.

This is one of my favorite brunch recipes. It is easy to make and even fussy eaters like it although I do take out the green peppers for them!
