Directions:
Combine cookie crumbs , melted butter, nuts and chocolate. Toss together with fork until well blended. Using 1/4 crumbs make an even layer in bottom of 8 inch spring form pan.
Spread 1 pint of ice cream evenly over crumbs. Add another layer of crumbs and freeze. When firm add a layer of softened chocolate ice cream, more crumbs and freeze. Repeat until there are four layers, two of vanilla and two of chocolate ice cream. Keep in freezer and allow to soften a little before serving. I have sometimes made extra crumbs for a thicker layer of crumbs

Jo Zimmerman used to come over every Friday, the winter I broke my leg. She cleaned the house and made our dinner. One Friday she made this dessert. It is good! What an angel she was.
