1 pound bulk Italian sausage
1 cup onion chopped (about 1 onion)
3 cups diced red potatoes
2 (14 oz) cans of chicken broth (low sodium)
1 quart water
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/3 cup cooked bacon bits
salt and pepper to taste
2 cups kale
1 cup heavy cream

Directions:
Directions:
In medium sized skillet brown Italian sausage over medium heat until full cooked. Place onion , potatoes, chicken broth and garlic in large pot, and cook on medium heat until potatoes are cooked through. Add the cooked sausage, bacon, salt, and pepper, and simmer for another 10 minutes. Turn the heat to low and add the chopped kale and heavy cream. Heat through and serve.
