Mt. Calvary Church


9 lb. chuck, precooked
3 c. frozen chopped onions
1 - #10 can diced tomatoes
1 tsp. dry celery leaves
1 tsp. minced garlic
1/2- 46 oz. can tomato juice

Cook above about 1 hour at 350. Add the following mixture;
6 tbsp. brown sugar
7 tbsp. chili powder
6 tbsp. vinegar
6 tbsp. water
Stir in well. Then add:
1 1/2- #10 cans chili beans
pinch of oregano
2 tbsp. onion salt
1 tsp. garlic salt
2 tbsp. celery salt
If too thick, thin with tomato juice. Let simmer, stirring occasionally.
