1 envelope plain gelatin
3/4 cup Maple Syrup
1/4 tsp. salt
10 vanilla wafers, crushed
1/2 cup cold water
2 eggs
1 cup cream, whipped
3/4 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg yokes slightly, add maple syrup, salt and cook over boiling water until it thickens. Soften gelatin in cold water, add to hot maple custard. Cool, and add the whipped cream, vanilla, wafers and nuts, fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Pour into a mold which has been lined with whole vanilla wafers. Chill until firm, unmold and top with whipped cream and nuts.
