4 c. water
4 TB yeast
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. soft butter
4 tsp. salt
1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
6 c. flour
1 1/4 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Sprinkle yeast over the water in a large bowl. Let stand a few minutes. Stir to dissolve. Add other ingredients to yeast mixture, including the 6 c. flour, and beat at low speed until smooth. Beat in the extra 1 1/4 cups. Cover the bowl and allow to rise about 45 minutes. Lightly grease an oven-safe bowl. Stir bread dough down and beat 25 strokes. Pour into the greased bowl and sprinkle with 1 TB Parmesan cheese. Bake 55 minutes or until nicely brown in a 375º oven. Can also divide bread into smaller containers and cook less time.
