1 lb jimmy dean hot sausage (original if you prefer milder dip)
1 lb cream cheese
1/4 c. diced mild jalapeno peppers

To make stuffed Portabello Mushrooms:
use above recipe and add to mixture
1/2 c. bread crumbs or panko and 1 beaten egg (per lb of meat/cream cheese)
6 large portbella mushrooms cleaned with stems removed
finely dice clean stems from the mushrooms and add to mixture

Directions:
Directions:
lightly brown sausage add finely minced peppers and cook another 2-3 mins. Drain meat and blend it into room temperature cream cheese until mixed well, place in crock pot heat on low until mixture is hot. Holds on low for 30 minutes to hour.

For stuffed mushrooms:
clean large fresh portabellas and remove stems and finely dice stems to mix into ingredients with panko and egg, spoon into mushroom caps as a stuffing and place onto shallow pan coated in olive oil Drizzle evoo on top of each stuffed mushroom and Bake in 350 F oven for 30-40 minutes or until mushrooms and stuffing are fully cooked and hot.
