15 1/2 oz. can kidney beans
15 1/2 oz. can butter beans
15 1/2 oz. can green lima beans
28 oz. can pork and beans
10 bacon slices, cut into small pieces
3 to 4 large onions, sliced into thin rings and then cut into halves (not chopped)
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 cup red wine vinegar
pepper to taste

Drain all the beans (except for the pork and beans) in a large colander and save the liquid. Fry the bacon in a large skillet until crispy; remove and set aside. Add onions to bacon grease and sauté. Once onions are soft, add garlic salt, dry mustard, brown sugar, red wine vinegar and pepper. Simmer for 15 to 20 minutes. Add the drained beans, pork and beans and bacon to the cooked onions; mix well. Pour beans into a 9x11-inch baking dish. Bake in a preheated 375º oven for approximately 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Add some of the saved liquid to the baked beans, if they appear too dry.
