1 egg yolk
2 tbsp. orange juice
1 tsp. soda
2 oz. whiskey
6 c. flour
Lots of powdered sugar

Directions:
Melt the butter and cool. Beat for 20 minutes or until it starts to cream. Add egg yoke, combine orange juice, soda and whiskey, add slowly to butter. Add the flour and stir by hand until ready to shape. Bake at 375 for 10-15 minutes. Set in a container with powdered sugar, then sprinkle more on top. NOTE: Mom rolled out and made stars. This was a fail for me, so I looked up and they are traditionally crescent or round shape.
