1/2 red onion, chopped or sliced
1 head romaine lettuce
1/2 pint strawberries, sliced

Dressing:
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup mayonnaise (can use low-fat)
1/4 cup milk
2 Tablespoons poppy seeds
4 Tablespoons red wine vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Toss the salad, red onion, and strawberries and set aside.
Mix the remaining dressing ingredients and pour over the salad just before serving. You may want to add more strawberries. Do not make more than needed as the leftovers do not keep well.
