Millie's Sheet Cake Recipe

2 c sugar
2 c flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp soda

1 c crisco
2 sticks oleo
3 T.Cocoa
1 c water

2 eggs beaten
1/2 c buttermilk


1 box powdered sugar
1 stick oleo
3 1/2 Tbsp cocoa
1 t vanilla
1 c chopped pecans
Hot coffee (2 1/2- 4 Tbsp)

Mix first 4 ingredients together.

Mix next 4 ingredients together and heat on stove. Add dry ingredients mix well. Add eggs and buttermilk mixing well. Pour into sheet cake pan ( greased) and bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes.

Mix ingredients for frosting adding coffee to make spreadable. Spread on warm cake
