Layer the following in 9" x 13" glass baking dish:
1st - 1/2 head iceberg lettuce, torn in bite-size pieces
2nd - 1/2 c. celery, thinly sliced
3rd - 1/2 c. bell peppers, thinly sliced
4th - 1/2 c. onions & 1/2 c. cucumbers, both thinly sliced
5th - 14.5 oz. frozen peas (no need to thaw, just break apart)
Spread 1 pint of mayonnaise over layers. Sprinkle with a pinch or two of sugar.
6th - 1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
7th - 1 or 2 boiled eggs, sliced and 3.25 oz. bacon bits
