1/3 cup butter or margarine
2/3 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 cup mashed bananas
1/4 cup buttermilk
1 1/4 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup 100% bran flakes
3/4 cup chopped dried apricots
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
In a medium bowl, cream the butter and sugar; add eggs and mix well. In another bowl, combine banana and milk. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture alternately with banana mixture. Stir in bran flakes, apricots and nuts. Pour into a greased 9x3-inch loaf pan. Bake in a preheated 350 oven for 55 to 60 minutes. Cool 10 minutes before removing to wire rack.
