Ingredients:
Ingredients:
6 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 c. brown sugar
2 c. butter or margarine (4 cubes)
3 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
4-6 c. chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter, brown sugar, & sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Add sifted dry ingredients (I never sift them). Mix in 4-6 cups chocolate chips. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes on waxed paper (you can also use parchment paper and after they're cool, you can remove the entire sheet and put on a new one so that you can keep baking the cookies -- or now I use the silicon baking pads). After removing from oven, let them sit on the pan until cool. Remove and enjoy! You can also freeze the cookie dough for baking later.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
During the 1980's Mrs. Fields Cookies was a brand new franchise and people rushed to duplicate her recipe. Mom got this one, and it became a keeper in our family, probably because it makes SO MANY cookies!
