3 cups elbow macaroni, uncooked
1 tsp onion powder
½ tsp garlic powder
2 tsp salt
6 cups tomato juice
3 tsp chili powder
4 TB sugar
¼ tsp. pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Cook 3 cups elbow macaroni in boiling salted water. When soft, drain water. Put noodles back in sauce pan and add the following ingredients (you can add or subtract any spice depending on taste). Cook until heated through. Can serve with cut up cheese cubes.

Grandma Josephine Heaton made this for her kids when they were growing up. Mom made it for us, and I've made it for my kids (David gave it the name Rainbow Noodle Soup). It is a real comfort food and quick to make!
