1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
2 egg yolks
1 tsp. almond extract
2 cup flour

FILLING:
1/2 cup butter
1/3 cup dark Karo
1 cup confectioners' sugar
1 cup pecans (chopped)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter and sugar; stir in egg yolks, almond extract, and flour. Press evenly into tiny tart shells or muffin tin. Bake in 400 degree oven for 8 to 10 minutes.

FILLING:
Bring to boil the butter, Karo and confectioners' sugar. Stir in the chopped pecans. Spoon into shells. Top with pecan halves. Bake at 350º for 5 minutes. Makes 4 dozen.
