6 large potatoes
1 stick butter
canned evaporated milk

Directions:
Directions:
Peel and Cube potatoes. Put in large pot and cover with water. Salt the water liberally. (Your potato water should taste like the ocean if you want well seasoned potatoes.) Boil until potatoes are very tender but not turning to mush. Drain potatoes and transfer to large bowl. Add butter and salt to taste (potatoes require a good bit of salt) mix on high adding evaporated milk a little at a time until potatoes are smooth and fluffy. Add black pepper if desired.
