1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
3 1/2 c cake flour
1 lb. orange slices, diced
1 can coconut
2 c. black walnuts
dash of salt
Icing:
2 c. orange juice
2 c. powdered sugar

Directions:

Cream margarine and sugar; add eggs. Dissolve soda in buttermilk and add along with flour. Mix on high for 2 minutes. Roll nuts and orange slices in flour. Stir nuts, orange slices, and coconut in batter. Pour in well greased and floured bundt pan. Bake at 250º for 2 1/2 hours. Mix icing ingredients together. As soon as cake comes out of oven, poke holes in it and pour the icing over cake. Let stand in pan overnight to absorb icing. Do not refrigerate.
