Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 cups water
2 cups milk
1 cup Half and Half
1 cup sugar
1 cup Crisco
2 tbsp. salt
2 pkg. yeast with 1/2 cup warm water + not quite a tsp. of sugar
Flour

Directions:
Directions:
Bring water, milk and cream to a boil. Pour over sugar, Crisco and salt. Stir to dissolve- let cool. Add yeast. Add flour until consistancy of thick paste. Knead in more flour until dough is formed and shiny. Keep in big bowl. Let rise in warm area and cover it with a tea towel. Let rise till it is going over the bowl. Punch down. Let rise a second time. Shape into buns. Cook at 350º
for 20 to 25 minutes.

I use 2 racks in the oven - one cookie sheet on each rack- half way through the baking process switch the buns so the buns on the top don't get more brown than the buns on the lower rack.
