1/2 cup butter
1 tsp. salt
2 cups milk
1 tsp. basil
1 tsp. pepper
1 cup Parmesan cheese, divided
12 lasagna noodles, cooked
1 pound cottage cheese
3 cloves garlic, crushed
1/2 cup flour
2 cups chicken broth
1 tsp. oregano
1-2 T. parsley flakes
2 cups shredded mozzarella
3/4 cup cooked chicken
thin strips of red and green peppers, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter, add garlic and salt. Add flour and stir until mixture bubbles. Add broth and milk, stirring frequently. Heat until mixture bubbles and thickens. Add basil, oregano, pepper, parsley flakes, mozzarella and 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese. Coat 13 x 9 pan with 1 cup sauce. Layer 1/3 noodles, spread 1/2 cottage cheese over noodles. Spread 1 1/2 cups sauce and add chicken and peppers. Layer remaining noodles then sauce. Top with 1/2 cup Parmesan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
