2 c. sugar
4 Tbsp. cocoa
1 stick oleo
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs
2 c. sifted flour
1 c. cold water
1/2 c. oil
1 tsp. soda

Frosting:
1/2 c. oleo
1/4 c. cocoa
1/2 c. buttermilk
3 1/2 c. sifted powered sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
nuts (pecans)

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, sugar, and cocoa together in bowl. In saucepan, bring water, oleo, and oil to boil. Pour over dry ingredients in bowl and beat until creamy. Add buttermilk, soda, and eggs. Beat. Bake on cookie sheet 15 1/2 x 10 1/2-inch at 400º for 18 minutes.

For frosting, bring oleo, cocoa, and buttermilk to boil. Add powered sugar and vanilla. Beat well. Add nuts. Spread on warm cake.
