1 box Washing Soda (55 oz box)

1 box baking soda (55 oz box)
1 container Purex Crystals (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Using a food processor, grate the bar soap. (It will probably be kind of stringy).

Mix all the powdered ingredients in a large tub or bowl.

Blend a small amount of grated bar soap and small amount of powered in a blender until smooth consistency. Put in a large container to store. Continue process until all soap and powder is blended.

Use 1-2 tablespoons per load of laundry.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This laundry detergent replaces store bought laundry detergent. If Purex Crystals are used, it replaces fabric softener. Gets clothes clean without harsh chemicals, H-e washer safe. Much cheaper to use than regular laundry detergent. For smelly clothes or towels, use 1/4-1/2 cup vinegar with the detergent.
