1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. ground pork
2 c. soft breadcrumbs
2 eggs, slightly beaten
½ c. onion, finely chopped
1 tbsp. parsley, minced
2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. butter
1 (10 oz.) jar apricot preserves
½ c. barbecue sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Combine first 7 ingredients, mixing well. Shape into 1-inch balls. Brown in butter (olive oil or margarine). Drain meatballs on paper towels, and place in 9x13x2 baking dish. Combine preserves and barbecue sauce; mix well. Pour over meatballs. Bake at 350ºF for 30 minutes. Makes about 5 dozen.

Since I am gluten-free, I used Rice Krispies® instead of the breadcrumbs, loaded the finished product into a Crock Pot® and took it to a TMCA function. There wasn't one left and no one noticed the substitution.
