1 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
3 lg. egg yolks (save whites for later)
1 tsp. vanilla
2 3/4 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cream butter until soft. 2. Add sugar gradually, continuing to cream about 5 minutes until light and fluffy. 3. Add egg yolks and vanilla, mix well. 4. Add flour in 3 additions, mix well after each addition. Dough will be stiff. 5. Shape dough into 2 rolls; wrap in plastic film, refrigerate at least one hour. 6. Use spritz gun. 7. Brush with beaten egg whites and sprinkle with colored sugar. 8. Bake 7-10 minutes at 400º, until edges area just turning a light golden color (usually a few minutes longer with the egg wash)
