1/4 c. butter
3/4 c. brown sugar
6 eggs
2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. powdered sugar
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 loaf French bread (cut into 1" slices)
2 tbsp. melted butter for drizzling
1/4 c. pecans, optional

Directions:
Melt 1/4 c. butter and add 3/4 cup brown sugar; stiff until mixed. Spread butter and brown sugar mixture on bottom of 9"x13" pan. Beat eggs, milk, vanilla and powdered sugar. Lay down a layer of French bread slices on top of butter and brown sugar mixture. Ladle half of egg mixture over bread slices. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Drizzle melted 2 tbsp. butter over one side of French bread slices for second layer. Lay second of bread, butter side up. Ladle rest of egg mixture over top. Cover and refrigerate overnight. In morning remove from refrigerator and uncover. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Bake at 350º for 45 minutes. ENJOY!
