1 c. butter
2/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/3 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream well the butter, sugar, salt, and vanilla. Add flour and mix well. Chill dough. Then roll dough between plastic wrap and cut in squares or circles about 1/4" thick. Bake on cookie sheets at 350º for 10-14 minutes. Cool on racks. Dip top half of cookies in melted chocolate or white chocolate. Place on waxed paper or parchment paper to cool.
