1 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 3/4 cup sifted flour
1 cup sliced almonds
1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
2 cup sugar
4 beaten eggs
4 T lemon juice
2 T flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Work in 1 3/4 cup flour until crumbly. Add almonds. Pat mixture in ungreased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake 15 minutes at 350º for 15 minutes. Cool. Beat powdered sugar and cream cheese until fluffy. Beat 1/2 cup whipping cream. Prepare pudding with milk and blend 3 mixtures together. Spread on cooled crust. Refrigerate 24 hours. Whip remaining 1/4 cup whipping cream and spread on dessert sprinkling with lemon peel before serving.
