12 cherry stone clams
1/2 c chopped onion
1/2 c chopped green pepper
3/4 c chopped mushrooms
1/4 c margarine or butter
3 Tbsp flour
Salt, Pepper, thyme, oregano, garlic, Tabasco and Worcestershire sauce to taste
1/2 c bread or cracker crumbs

Shuck clams. Chop meats and set aside. Wash shells thoroughly. Cook onion,pepper and mushrooms in margarine until tender. Blend in flour seasonings. Add chopped clams and cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Add crumbs. Grease clam shells and fill with mixture. Sprinkle with paprika and bake in 400º oven for 15 minutes or until browned. Serve as hors d'oeuvres.
