8 medium Apples (very ripe)
3/4 c Sugar + 1/2 c Sugar (crumble topping)
1/4 c all-purpose Flour + 3/4 c all-purpose Flour (crumble topping)
1/2 tsp Cinnnamon
1/4 tsp Nutmeg
1/2 c Butter or Margarine
1 Deep Dish Pie Crust

Directions:

Filling -
Stir together the sugar, flour, nutmeg and cinnamon and mix with thinly sliced apples. Turn into pastry lined pie pan.

Crumble Topping-
Mix 3/4 c all-purpose flour, 1/2 c sugar and 1/2 c butter or margarine until crumbly.

Heat oven to 425º. Top pie with crumble topping. Cover edge of crust with aluminum foil to prevent burning. Remove foil last 15 minutes of baking. Bake for a total of 45-50 minutes.
