Ingredients: There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. We love because he first loved us. 1 John 4: 18-19
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does no boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered. It keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trust, always hope and always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophets, they will cease; where there are tongues they will be stilled; where there is knowledge it will pass away. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8
