Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups dark chocolate chips
570 g chick peas ( 1 1/2 tins, drained )
4 eggs
3/4 cup white sugar
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp icing sugar for dusting

Directions:
Directions:
You need a food processor to do the mixing. A very good high protein alternative to flourless cake. Grease and flour a 23 inch round tin. Oven 350º.

Place chocolate chips in microwave - safe bowl. Cook for 2 min, stirring every 20 seconds after the first min. Until chocolate is melted and smooth. If you have a powerful microwave, reduce the power to 50 per cent. Combine the chickpeas and eggs in bowl of food processor. Process until smooth. Add the sugar and baking powder, and pulse to blend. Pour in the melted chocolate and blend until smooth, scraping down corners to make sure chocolate is completely mixed. Transfer to a the prepared cake tin. Bake 40 minutes or until a knife inserted into centre comes out clean. Cool in pan on a wire rack for 10 to 15 min. before inverting on to serving plate. Dust with icing sugar just before serving.
