2 quarts cukes
2 large onions
2 T salt
1 1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup white vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Peel and slice cukes and onions. Cover with salt; let stand for 2 hours. Drain off salt. Boil a mixture of sugar and vinegar and pour over pickles; stir and put in freezer box. (These can be made each day without much fuss as the cukes ripen).
